Glenpatrick Bridge Walk – Rathgormack

About the Walk:

This is a very scenic and enjoyable walk and interesting whatever the time of year. The second half of this walk is particularly interesting as you take walk under the north eastern slopes of Knockanaffrin Ridge along part of the old and very picturesque Clonmel to Kilmeaden road. I did this walk in the Summer and rhodedendrons were blomming – the colours were amazing..

Directions:

From the village of Rathgormack on the R678 (Distance from Clonmel: 12 miles, Waterford: 25 miles, Carrick on Suir: 6 miles, Dungarvan: 18 miles), follow the R678 in the direction of Clonmel. After a 5km straight stretch, the road swings left and reaches a downhill roadway on your right. Turn right and travel for 500m to reach a large car parking and picnic area on your right.
