Free Flights Giveaway From Cork Airport in Waterford City
Free flights will be given away by Cork Airport, Ireland’s fastest growing and most punctual airport, this Friday (17 May) as part of a ‘Spin the Wheel’ competition in Waterford city.
Pairs of return tickets to Lisbon, London, Zurich, Budapest, Malta and more will be up for grabs at City Square Shopping Centre, from 12:30pm – 2:30pm. Also available to win on the day are vouchers for The Loop and car parking at Cork Airport, along with free passes for the Aspire airport business lounge.
The ‘Spin the Wheel’ competition is to promote Cork Airport’s connectivity to over 50 destinations worldwide, including eight new routes which have launched this summer. This event is open to the public and Beat 102-103 will broadcast live.
Commenting on the event, Head of Communications at Cork Airport, Kevin Cullinane said: “We are delighted to bring our ‘Spin the Wheel’ game to Waterford city this Friday. To be in with a chance to play, we ask the public to simply collect a boarding pass from one of the Beat Fleeters and wait for their boarding number to be called out. They must then answer a question correctly about Cork Airport before they can spin the wheel. It is definitely worth brushing up on your Cork Airport knowledge in advance by visiting www.corkairport.com.
“In total, 2.6 million passengers are expected to travel through Cork Airport this year, up 8% compared to 2018. This growth is due to the support of passengers travelling from across Munster, including Waterford. Cork Airport is very much the airport for the south of Ireland, and for Waterford holiday-makers, offers great ease of access, flexibility and connectivity.”
