Tramore St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2019

Sunday March 17th at 1.30pm

Starting at the Cannons Field, Priest Road Car Park

Tramore Parade

The 2019 Tramore St Patrick’s Day Parade gets underway on March 17th at the new time of 1.30pm. The Fun theme this year is ‘Save Our Seas’ and this year’s Grand Marshall will be Mr Jim O’Sullivan representing Tramore Golf Club who are proudly celebrating 125 years this year

All walking participants are asked to assemble for 1pm at the Cannons Field, Priest Road Car Park. All Participating Floats & Vehicles are to line up along the Old Waterford Road but the committee ask that no vehicles park between the Entrance of Sweetbriar Park & O’Neill’s Bar To facilitate traffic movement before the rolling road closure during the parade itself.

The Cannon’s Field /Priest Road Car park will be closed from 10pm on Saturday the 16th March. and will not be available for use until 2pm on Sunday the 17th March. Any vehicles in the car park will not be allowed to move until after the parade has moved off. This is to ensure the safety of people who will be assembling in advance of the parade, and we ask that this be respected.
Those that would usually use the car park at this time, are asked to consider other options for the day that’s in it.

A rolling road closure will take place during the parade itself Starting from Summerhill following the route down Main Street, turning right onto Broad Street a the cross, proceeding to and turning left down Gallweys Hill, down Turkey Road before coming to an end at the former Railway building where the viewing stand will be located. All vehicles are asked to proceed onwards to disband at the Riverstown Roundabout

Provision will be made in the Broad Street/Church Road area for Blue badge Holder Parking.
(Between Seagull Bakery & Gallweys Hill)
Any badge holders wishing to park here, must be parked up by 1.00pm latest.
We ask other motorists to respect this, and keep this area clear on the day.

We hope everyone has a great day, and share plenty of pictures on social media using the hashtags #YourTownYourParade #TramoreParade
