It takes a lot more than talent to make it . Every successful artist has had a long road from their bedroom to their hit album. Michelle speaks to artists, music management, music producers, music media and PR, as well as the head of Universal Music Ireland and finds out all the steps you need to take to build a career in music.

‘When Will I Be Famous’ aired all this week on Beat 102 103 and is now available to listen back to on their Soundcloud. Episode 1 features South East artists Moncrieff and Alex Gough, talking about their steps into the indsutry.

Episode 4 is dedicated to the girls, and asks how the music industry is different for women. Lastly in Episode 5, you’ll hear from a musician in the South East who recently signed a record deal and get advice from Universal Music Ireland on landing a contract with a label.
