A look back on 2016

There’s nothing like having a look back on the year that past, so we thought we’d share with you a few photos in our roundup and call it A look back on 2016.  We have met some fantastic people along the way who have made all the difference to Waterford In Your Pocket.  Waterford has such a vibrant city and county that is always waiting to be explored and as a city person it’s great to feel welcome where ever I go.
The amount of festivals that we have in Waterford is really second to none.  Starting off with the 1848 Tricolour Celebration which commemorates the first flying of the Irish Tricolour on the 7th of March 1848 to Ireland’s best Christmas Festival Winterval with Spraoi, Harvest Festival, West Waterford Festival of Food, Prom Festival in Tramore and so many more there is something for everyone and we here at Waterford In Your Pocket were kept very busy and delighted to be so.
We were also delighted this year to be social media partners with the Waterford Lions Club Christmas Hamper Appeal who raised €75,000 for the people of Waterford.
This year is another year where you can get out and enjoy all the festivals that will be taking place and we will be posting about them in the near future.  We have some great plans here at Waterford In Your Pocket so we hope that you join us on our journey in 2017 to explore even more of what Waterford has to offer.
